This Birdcage veil design was actually inspired by the Bride’s wedding gown.  She wore a wedding gown in a very light ivory with a beaded detail along the waist of the gown.

Looking at the structure of the wedding gown, the bride did not want to take away any of this detail but to highlight it.  Also looking at her scrapbook of designs that she had gathered one noticeable design was coming through - a Birdcage veil.

After some time working with the bride to be the final design was created.  Each of the Swarovski crystal beads are hand sewn to the band (which I designed to frame the bride to be’s head).

This stunning veil was designed with the help of the bride to be.  Her gown is a structured style with little detail accents in the front, the design is all about how it falls on the bride.  There is detail in the back and as the bride did not want to lose these design details the veil below was designed purely to enhance the elegance of the gown and yet bring the total look together.

The main body of this veil is plain with no accent so that the back detail of her gown can show through.

Cel Design Veils are available in many of the standard lengths and widths.  But unlike many wedding veil shops, I can create for you wedding veils with different lengths and widths.

For example, I had a recent bride with me who was small and petite in stature and the normal full length Cathedral veil, being 108″ (w) by  120″ (L), just swamped this bride with fabric.  So I custom made a wedding veil to suit this bride,  the Length was 115″ and the width was 72″ and it looked divine on the bride she was a princess for her day and not having the hassle of fabric swamping her in her wedding picture…

For some brides they would like the combination of Scattered crystals and a ribbon trim on their wedding veil. An elegant plain veil with not accents and a simple cut edge veil is best used when there is a lot of detail on your wedding gown

2 tier Ivory illusion tulle veil with scattered crystals with a narrow satin ribbon trim. This is a bespoke width and length Cathedral Veil which suits brides with petite statures.

Here is a new selection of wedding veils accents available from Cel Design.  The first image is of a scattered daisies at the centre of a Veil. 

The second image is of an applique that I have available and it can be accented with a little flower just above the applique.

The Third image is of another applique that is available.  The trim edging shown is ivory pearls.  The appliques in each image  are Ivory in colour, they are also available in white also.

This design works best with Cathedral or Chapel length veils.  As with all my  veil designs I use only Illusion tulle which is extremely sheer, so if you would like a “blusher tier” You will be able to see through it! unlike inferior tulle’s available online!

Satin Rose Detail - POA

Five petal Organza flower with peacock pearl & Swarovski Crystal centre

Each rose in this fascinator was hand made, using black satin and organza.  The five petal flower is also hand made using turquoise organza, as this was the contrast colour. To enhanced the contrast colour each rose centre also has a turquoise organza centre.

The Rose measure approx 2″ wide and full length is inches including  matching satin and organza leaves which can be moved as they are hand wired.

A small Merry Widow netting compliments  the piece.  This design can be worn onthe left or right side as the flowers and feathers can be moved in any direction.

This design can be made in any colour!

Silk/satin Finish on Veil

This Finger-tip veil measures 36″ in length and is 72″ wide.  I use only metal hair combs for a more secure fit with all my wedding veils.  The cost of this veil is €60.00 inclusive of postage and packing.

This veil is also available with scattered crystals and a satin ribbon edging made with illusion tulle and same measurements as above costs €85.00 inclusive of postage and packing. 

All veils come boxed for storage before and after your wedding.
