About

Cel Design jewellery and bridal head-dress are designed and hand made by Celine Flynn. Celine has created a new line of hair accessories that have the stylish elegance of the 1950’s but with a modern twist.  Using pieces of vintage jewellery in her latest designs and now making them more affordable for Brides of the 21st Century.

These new designs now start from as little as €30  for a Large  Single  Star Flower  Hair Comb.

Cel Design has now branched into designing bespoke  Wedding Veils using illusion tulle and Vintage French veiling in her BirdCage Veil designs.

Celine still uses sterling silver, 14 kt gold in some of her Couture Designed head-dresses. In her new collection she used  colour coated copper wires head-dresses.

She uses only sterling silver and 14 kt gold findings (clasps, chains etc.,) in her jewellery designs and combines semi precious stones, fresh water pearls and for added sparkle swarovski crystals.

Celine draws her influences from the textures and colours of the landscape around Ireland. The bridal collection includes; modern, classical and  whimsical.

Her  collection ” Contemporary Irish”  is taking the traditional knitting and crocheting stitches but giving them a contemporary edge, which her clients appreciate for the distinctiveness and affordability.

As with all of Celine’s designs the colour detail, beading, style and size can be themed to match specific colours.
At the studio, brides-to-be have the wonderful choice to try different designs for inspiration to help in deciding what style they would like Celine to create for them.

The Collections: Modern, Classical, Whimsical and Contemporary Irish, the range available in these are: Tiaras/Crowns, Hair combs, HairVeins, pins and Bobby pins.

These can be bought as full sets or as individual pieces. These are ideal gifts for bridesmaids, flower girls and mother’s of the bridal party, to remember your special day.

Celine has recently received the award for “Essence of Ireland”, for her new collection of “Contemporary Irish” at Showcase in the RDS .

Cel Design now  exhibited in Wales and Carlow. Cel Design designed and created the Carlow Rose of Tralee Tiara in 2009.  Celine’s jewellery collection was featured in the Autumn photo shoot of the B Magazine and on Nationwide 2008.
